TORONTO, Ont. November 11, 2011 – Canada’s leading independent fuel distributor, PetroValue, is pleased to announce the addition of three new staff members to its Toronto office, who will further highlight PetroValue’s commitment to cross-country service.

The new Eastern employees include John Blackburn, Director of Sales Ontario; Chris Rahim, Sales Representative Ontario; and Leah Fleury, Office Manager Eastern Division.

Port Perry’s John Blackburn is paving the way for Ontario fuel distribution as the Director of Sales Ontario. This Kingston, Ont. native is also a 15-year veteran firefighter for the Markham Fire Department, so he’s always up for any challenge. John studied Economics at Concordia University in Montreal, where he played varsity hockey. John’s open and friendly demeanor helps him build close relationships with customers and suppliers by providing individual, around-the-clock service. John can be reached at John@petrovalue.ca

Working closely alongside John is Georgetown, Ontario’s Chris Rahim, PetroValue’s Sales Representative for Ontario. Much like his fellow colleague, Chris also shares a passion for hockey and played Centerman for Nipissing University’s varsity team, as well as played for the Georgetown Raiders. Chris graduated from Nipissing with a BBA and majored in Marketing, and he is eager to sink his teeth into the fuel industry. In this new role, he combines enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Rounding off the new lineup is Leah Fleury, who relocated from Vancouver to Toronto to take over as Office Manager Eastern Division. After graduating from the Journalism program at Kwantlen University College in Vancouver, BC, Leah spent seven years working as a Reporter/Photographer at newspapers across Canada.
