Military personnel give thanks to PetroValue

PetroValue had the pleasure of treating three members of the National Defence’s Canadian Forces Recruiting Region and their partners to the 20th annual ‘Have a Heart’ dinner on Tuesday November 29, 2011 in Toronto, ON.
Our Ontario sales representative Chris Rahim hosted the military personnel in an evening of fine dining and mingling amongst Toronto Maple Leafs players and lady leafs. All proceeds went towards the Toronto Maple Leaf’s 'Team Up Foundation', which improves the lives of youth by building facilities, giving to sustainable programs and empowering youth through sports and recreation.
The PetroValue team applauds the ongoing efforts of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve during times of war, conflict and peace.
Here’s what one of our special guests had to say about the evening:

MAPLE LEAFS "HAVE-A-HEART" DINNER 2011
Dear Mr. Coleman
On behalf of Corporal Jonathan Martin and Private Abner Melgar Urias, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to attend the Toronto Maple Leafs "Have-a-Heart" Dinner on 29 November with our spouses. As a life-long Toronto Maple Leafs fan (and someone who has two blue seats out of Maple Leaf Gardens), it was an incredible evening and something that I will not soon forget. Corporal Martin and Private Melgar Urias have expressed similar sentiments.
It was a pleasure to meet Chris Rahim, and to discuss similar interests across aviation and hockey. With over 1,500 flying hours on the CP140 Aurora aircraft, I am keenly aware that aviation fuel and fuel safety is crucial to mission success. Through your petroleum line of business PetroValue is clearly determined to support Canadian Forces air operations. Events like the Maple Leafs dinner also demonstrate PetroValue's commitment to Canadian Forces personnel.
Chris was an excellent host who encouraged us to interact with the team as much as possible. My wife and I came away with a helmet signed by all of the players in attendance. The highlight of my evening was meeting Darryl Sittler, who actually introduced himself to me.
Sincerely,
KW Foster, CD, BEng, MBA, PhD(abd)
